BURCHAM-SMITH

Jennie Louise Smith and Mark O'Neil Burcham were united in marriage on Friday, March 26, 1993, in a candlelight ceremony at First Baptist Church. Dr. Charles Fuller officiated.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a hand-fashioned, full-length gown of white brocade. Her fingertip veil fell from a floral wreath. She carried a bouquet of white bridal roses, lilies, purple fresia, tulips and heather. Maid of honor was Becky McManus, friend of the bride. Ginny Burcham, sister of the groom, was the bridesmaid. Flowergirl was Kaylie Smith, niece of the bride. Leonard Burcham was his son's best man. Groomsmen were Fred Smith and Kent Smith, brothers of the bride, and ClifBurcham, brother of the groom. Ringbearer was Daniel Smith, nephew of the bride.

The ceremony was followed by a reception in the atrium of the church. Hostesses were Karen Camper, Linda Camper and Alicia Nickens. The guestbook was attended by Dorothy Moore.

Friends gathered at Wrexham Hall in Chesterfield, Virginia, on March 27 to honor the newlyweds.

Jenny is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith, of Richmond. She graduated from Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio, and Coastal Carolina College in Conway, S.C.
