CONNER-ERDIM

Pamela Gail Erdim and Chadwick Wesley Conner were married Saturday, May 8, 1993 at six o'clock in the evening at Colonial Avenue Baptist Church. TheRev. Carl Dean Belcher, cousin of the bride, of Durham, North Carolina officiated. The bride was escorted by her brother, Bulent Ferite Erdim and given in marriage by her parents. The reception was held at Hidden Valley Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Zona Farrington Erdim and Dr. Feyyaz Erdim of Roanoke, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Carl Shrader Farrington of Bluefield, West Virginia, and the late Mr.Farrington, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Ferite Erdim, of Istanbul, Turkey. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and the College of Charleston in South Carolina.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Wesley Conner and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Thomas Brown, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Emmeritte Edward Conner, and the great-grandson of Mrs. Mabel Dillon Creasey, all of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. He is a pilot for Piedmont Aviation.

Mary Elizabeth Allen of Roanoke and Anne-Paige Nelson Thomas of West Palm Beach, Florida were the maids of honor. Elizabeth Graham Shuler of Long Island, New York was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Caroline CreaseyAndrews of Alexandria, Virginia, Erin Claire Bye, Sally Blair Roberts andTammy Teresa King, cousin of the groom, all of Roanoke. The flowergirl wasBethany Dawn Sawyers, cousin of the bride, of Bluefield, West Virginia. The honorary attendants, friends of the bride, were Tamara Kathleen O'Hearn of Muncie, Indiana and Deborah Ann Graham of New York, New York.

Mr. James Wesley Conner, father of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Todd David Conner, brother of the groom, Marvin Chapman Smith, III both of Roanoke, MerdockMalcolm MacGregor, III of WiltonConnecticut, Scott William Thomas of Greenville, South Carolina, PeterDeLange Robinson of Hollywood, Florida and Daryl Craig Andrews of Alexandria, Virginia. The ringbearer was Ryan Lynn Holland, cousin of the groom, of Lilburn, Georgia.

The guestbook was attended by Mrs. John Cole, Jr. of Roanoke. The harpest for the ceremony was Elizabeth Dechent. The bride was serenaded by the groom and his fraternity brothers with the traditional "Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" song.

After a wedding trip to Cozumel, the couple will reside in Roanoke.
