DILLARD-EDMONSON

Shannon Renee Edmonson and Robert Allen Dillard were married May 8, 1993, in Troutville Church of the Brethren with Pastor Peter J. Leddy, Sr. officiating. The reception was held at Troutville Church of the Brethren. The maid of honor was Gina Scott, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Boblett, sister of the groom, Shea Shilling, cousin of the bride, Susie Coleman, friend of the bride. The best man was Steven Dillard, father of the groom. Ushers were Alan Leonard, Dean Martin and Dennis Mills, all friends of the groom. Guestbook was attended by Angie Leonard. The bride is the daughter of S. David Mullins of Fincastle and Sharon Painter of Troutville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Rock and Ms. Hazel Edmonson and the late Sampy David Mullins. She graduated from Lord Botetourt High School and from Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by King, Fulghum, Snead, Nixon & Grimes, P.C. The groom is the son of Steven Dillard of Troutville and Geneva Boblett of Fincastle. He is the grandson of Mrs. Irene Dillard and the late E. O. Dillard and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira Tucker. He graduated from Lord Botetourt High School and is employed by Unijax-Sloan. the newlyweds will live in Troutville, Virginia, after a wedding trip to the Bahamas.
