CARTER ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe P. Carter, Sr. celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on April 29, 1993. They have lived in Roanoke for 40 years. Their children are Nellie Ruth Simmerman of Salem, Dennis "Denny" Carter of Roanoke; Roscoe "Powell" Carter, Jr. of Reidsville, N.C.; Linda Allen of Roanoke; and Gary Carter of Charlotte, N.C. They also have 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
