The Mason Cove Volunteer Fire Department and Catawba/Mason Cove Rescue Squad will hold an open house Sunday, May 16, at the Mason Cove Fire Station, 3810 Bradshaw Road in Roanoke County. The newspaper reported an incorrect date for the open house in Saturday's editions.

Because incorrect information was given to the newspaper, a story in Friday editions failed to credit Patrick Henry High School's Ashley Kinsley with the winning goal in Thursday's 2-1 boys' soccer game against Cave Spring High School.
