OBIT FIELDS, MARY JANE

FIELDS, Mary Jane, 49, of Piedmont Regional Group Home, in Martinsville, died Friday, May 7, 1993 at Lewis Gale Medical Center. She was a daughter of the late Dr. G.E. Fields and Josephine Ramsey Counts. She was employed by the W.C. Ham Center and was a member of the Open Arms Sunday School Class and the Bell Choir at First Methodist Church of Martinsville. Miss Fields is survived by two brothers, J. Edwin Fields, Ridgeway, and G. Thomas Fields, Indianapolis, Ind.; two nieces; and three nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, May 10, 1993 from Lotz Roanoke Chapel, with the Rev. James A. Dickerson officiating. Interment in Evergreen Burial Park. Memorial gifts may be made to the the Open Arms Sunday School Class, c/o First Methodist Church, Martinsville, Va. 24112. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel, Sunday, May 9 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
