OBIT SWAIN, HENRY OLDEN

SWAIN, Henry Olden, 74, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, May 7, 1993 in Community Hospital. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from Norfolk & Western Railroad. He is survived by his wife, Catherine B. Swain, Roanoke; one daughter and son-in-law, Willie Mae and Robert L. Bonds, Goodview; two brothers, Robert L. Swain, Columbus, Ohio, Warren H. Swain, Roanoke; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Swain, Columbus, Ohio; two aunts, Mrs. Christine Murphy, Roanoke, Mrs. Mary Jane Dye, Detroit, Mich.; two uncles, Elbert Dent, Moneta, Frank Dent, Hardy; three nieces, two nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Dr. J. Eugene Young and Rev. Antonio B. Thomas officiating with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. The procession wiil form at the funeral home. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
