OBIT WARD, SHIRLEY PEDIGO

WARD, Shirley Pedigo, of 3531 Peters Creek Rd., Roanoke, passed away Friday, May 7, 1993. She was predeceased by her parents, Abraham Pedigo and Molly Taylor Pedigo and a son, William F. (Sonny) Ward. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Barry L. and Brenda J. Ward; two daughters, Carolyn and Rebecca Ward; daughter-in-law, Jean Ward; her former husband, William W. Ward; five grandchildren, Amy, Barry Jr., Michael and Kathryn Ward and Marshall Ward-Barnette, all of Roanoke; two sisters, Catherine Linkous, Fayetteville, N. C. and Rachel Nichols, Roanoke; one brother, Neal Pedigo, Roanoke; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1 p.m. Monday, May 10, 1993 with the Rev. Dr. George K. Bowers officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
