OBIT-FLOWERS, ROY HANSFORD

FLOWERS, Roy Hansford, 84, of Franklin, Tenn., formerly of Roanoke, died May 9, 1993. He was a member of Brook Hollow Baptist Church, Nashville, Tenn., and former member of Windsor Hills Baptist Church, Roanoke. He was a retired employee of Nelson Hardware Co., and former employee of Roanoke County School Board. He is survived by his wife, Susie Linkenhoker Flowers, Franklin, Tenn.; one son and daughter-in-law, Clinton E. and Barbara D. Flowers; two grandchildren, Michael and Leanne Flowers, all of Franklin, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Miller (Martha) Scaggs, Greenfield, Ind., and Mrs. C. W. (Mary) Willis of Salem; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, Sherwood Memorial Park, 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, with the Rev. C. Lawrence Dodson officiating. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
