OBIT BURRESS, JUNIOR ANDREW

BURRESS, Junior Andrew, 65, of 130 Cove Hills Drive, Wytheville, died Tuesday, May 11, 1993 in the Wythe County Community Hospital. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a member of the Wytheville Masonic Lodge #82 A.F.&A.M. He is survived by his wife, Frances Akers Burress of Wytheville; one daughter, Lisa Burress Anderson of Wytheville; two sisters, Gladys Cooper of Elyria, Ohio, Midge Hook of Loraine, Ohio; two brothers, Joe Burress of Loraine, Ohio, Randy Burress of Princeton, W.Va.; one grandson, Steven Anderson; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ethel A. and Preston Chapman of Wytheville. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 13, 1993 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Edward Richardson with interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. The Wytheville Masonic Lodge #82 A.F.&A.M. will conduct a memorial service at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 1993 in the chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
