OBIT MYERS, MATTIE ELLA

MYERS, Mattie Ella, 78, of Lexington, died Tuesday, May 11, 1993, at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Lexington. Miss Myers was born in Rockbridge Co., VA, on March 2, 1915, a daughter of the late Rhodney Henry and Ethel Virginia Falby Myers. She was a member of the Lexington Baptist Church, Lexington. Surviving are a brother, Andrew M. Myers, Lexington; three sisters, Susie F. Martin, Lexington, Nancy Jane Crowder, Salem; Mary E. McCormick, Lexington, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 13, 1993, at 2 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Leonard officiating with burial to follow in the Oxford Presbyterian Cemetery, Lexington. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
