SEMINAR ON ELDERLY IN ABINGDON

The 11th annual Seminar on Older Persons will be held Monday through Wednesday at Virginia Highlands Community College with topics ranging from educational programs to elder abuse.

Speakers include Barbee Bancroft, of Chicago-based CPP Associates; humorist Allen Klein; Mary S. Harper, of the National Institutes of Health; Dr. Jacqueline Lloyd, director of the Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology at East Tennessee State University; and Lora Flattum of Roanoke, who was the 1992 Miss Virginia.
