OBIT FLINCHUM, LENA HONITA COLLINS

FLINCHUM, Lena Honita Collins, 83, of 2743 Fletcher St., Salem, died Tuesday, May 4, 1993, after a long illness. She was the daughter of Clyde and Alice Collins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis C. Flinchum. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Bobby Doyle, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, Roy Collins, Danville, Norbert (Bert) Collins, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two sisters, Georgia Collins, Salem, Mary Jarvis, Peterstown, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Patricia Frye, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Bobby Doyle Jr., Salem, Frederick (Ricky) Doyle, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Nikki Doyle, Troutville; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday 11 a.m. at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem with the Rev. Glennard Quesenberry officiating. Burial in the Sherwood Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
