OBIT JONES, ATLINE WARD, ("JONESIE")

JONES, Atline Ward, ("Jonesie"), of Vinton, died Wednesday, May 12, 1993. She was the daughter of the late J. Herman and Effie Bush Jones and was also preceded in death by a brother, Earl L. Jones. She was a member of Vinton Baptist Church and a retired bridal consultant for Smartwear Irving Saks. Surviving are a number of cousins including E. W. "Sonny" Jones of Vinton, Frances Sublett of Roanoke, Gayle Obenchain of Vinton; and devoted friends, Robert and Eileen Watson of Vinton, Bill Jones of Roanoke and Kay Boitnott of Troutville. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 11 a.m. Friday, May 14, 1993 with Rev. William E. Hungate and Rev. Dr. William L. Ross officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
