DALTON, Lockie Odessa, 86, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, May 11, 1993, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born April 10, 1907 in Carroll County, Va. to Daniel and Jane Nester. She is survived by eight sons, Wiley Dalton, Dublin, Glenn Dalton, Bristol, Tenn., Cecil Dalton, Kingsport, Tenn., Maynard Dalton, Sparta, N.C., Leonard Dalton, Mt. Airy, N.C., Robert Dalton, Bristol, Tenn., Avis Dalton, Mt. Airy, N.C., Rickey Dalton, Bristol, Tenn.; four daughters, Annelee Goad, Beltsville, Md., Lorna Bowman, Dublin, Mamie Smith, Bristol, Tenn., Lois Wild, Hillsville; 36 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 14, 1993 at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, with the Rev. Harold Fenstermaker officiating. Burial will be in the Gladesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, May 13, 1993, at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville.
