Bill Cunningham, senior coordinator for the Virginia Organ Procurement Agency, will help dispel myths about organ donation and stress the need for communication in the family.
\ BETHLEHEM BIBLE COLLEGE will hold its seventh commencement and certificate awarding ceremony Monday at 7 p.m. at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1415 Eighth St. N.W. Nancy Wilson will give the commencement address.

\ A MUSICAL CELEBRATION is scheduled May 23 at 7 p.m. at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 344 Church Ave. in downtown Roanoke. The free program will feature choral groups from the host church, from Bethany and Westhampton congregations in Roanoke and from First Christian in Clifton Forge. Also on the program will be the hand bells and orchestra of Belmont Christian Church of Roanoke.
The Rev. James Dickerson will speak at the music celebration, which includes all Disciples of Christ congregations in District III. Now of Martinsville, he is a former Roanoker. The Rev. Jim Rivers, pastor of the host church, is directing the program.
\ SHIRLEY W. GUNN, a special education teacher at Patrick Henry High School, will speak during Women's Day observances Sunday at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, 301 Patton Ave. N.W. The service is at 11 a.m.
Gunnn, a member of Loudon Avenue Christian Church, attended Roanoke schools and earned her undergraduate degree from Virginia State University. She did her graduate studies at Ball State and Indiana universities.
\ HIGH STREET BAPTIST CHURCH will continue its 32nd anniversary celebration honoring the Rev. Noel C. Taylor Sunday at 4 p.m. with a program given by all the church's choirs and musical groups.
The celebration will end May 23 with a 4 p.m. service with Charles R. Mosley, pastor of First Nazareth Baptist Church of Asheville, N.C., as speaker. Mosley also will conduct the 10:30 a.m. service. A reception will follow the afternoon service.

\ SANDRA COLE, evangelist and founder of International Outreach Ministries in Harvey, La., will speak at Shenandoah Community Church of God in Christ today through Sunday at 7:30 nightly. The church is at 3545 Shenandoah Ave. N.W.
\ BONSACK BAPTIST CHURCH has voted to pledge to a $700,000 debt reduction and building renovations campaign to begin this fall. The Rev. Dr. Robert Moore, pastor, said the money will be used to complete a building program for the new worship center that was occupied in late 1991. The cost of completing the $1.7 million church prevented the needed addition of Sunday school rooms and better use of existing space. Moore said growth of the church requires facilities for small groups to maintain a family atmosphere.
\ LUCOM, a cooperative agency of a dozen Lutheran parishes in the Roanoke Valley, is raising funds to erect a third Habitat for Humanity house in the spring of 1994. The Rev. Chip Gunsten, a leader in the project, said a site is still being sought.
\ RICK HARDING, minister of education and youth at Edgewood Christian Church for the past five years, has left the staff. Harding said that he is retiring from pastoral ministry after 26 years and moving to Orlando, Fla., to enter secular work.
\ THE REV. J. WELDON MYERS, a retired pastor residing in Roanoke, has joined the part-time staff of Cloverdale Church of the Brethren. Myers will work in the areas of nurture and visitation.
\ JUDY MILLS REIMER, a member of Williamson Road Church of the Brethren and in her final year at Bethany Theological Seminary, will serve a summer internship at Central Church of the Brethren in downtown Roanoke.
\ FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY is set for May 23 with an 11 a.m. worship at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Fifth Street and Gilmer Avenue Northwest. The Rev. Charles H. Roberts, pastor, will be the speaker.
\ A MEN'S DAY RALLY will be held Sunday at the Truevine Church of Christ, Bibleway Worldwide, at 1132 Loudon Ave. N.W. The program will begin at 3 p.m. and will feature male choruses from throughout the Roanoke Valley.
\ WESTHAMPTON CHRISTIAN CHURCH will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nature Camp July 10 at 4 p.m.
The camp, originally directed by Thayer and the late Bill Walker, has averaged 25-30 children each year, all of whom have attended free.
Former campers, counselors and others associated with the camp are invited to share their experiences and memorabilia. The event will be at the church, 2515 Grandin Road S.W.
\ THE REV. RONALD MARSH, associate minister of Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, will speak Sunday during 11 a.m. services at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1014 Norfolk Ave. S.W. Marsh is an native Roanoker and was an outstanding basketball player at the former Jefferson High School.
\ SALEM FIRST CHURCH OF GOD will have a banquet to highlight the life, work and ministry of women on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sunnybrook Inn, 7342 Plantation Road.
Lesley Lundell Smith, the reigning Mrs. West Virginia, will be the guest speaker. Smith, 25, has won several academic awards and participated in numerous pageants. A graduate of the University of Charleston (W.Va.), she is now a registered nurse in Charleston. Her husband, Scott, is a sales representative.
