That's the day their one-act plays will spring from script to stage in Mill Mountain Theatre's monthly Centerpiece production.
That's also more than many emerging playwrights get before they even leave college.
Ramsey and Wood wrote their plays - "Stop!" and "Final Scene," respectively - for a play-writing assignment at downtown Roanoke's CITY School, where seniors from William Fleming and Patrick Henry high schools take advanced classes.
Their plays were chosen from a class full of other short plays about life's dilemmas young folks face today. Their plays also are the first by high schoolers to be presented in Centerpiece's seven years.
You can see their plays - for free - as script-in-hand readings by the Mill Mountain Youth Ensemble at 12:15 on Mill Mountain's Main Stage. Don't forget to bring a lunch!
