Lesley Lundell Smith, the reigning Mrs. West Virginia, will be the guest speaker. Smith, 25, has won several academic awards and participated in numerous pageants. A graduate of the University of Charleston (W.Va.), she is now a registered nurse in Charleston. Her husband, Scott, is a sales representative.

\ BETHLEHEM BIBLE COLLEGE will hold its seventh commencement and certificate awarding ceremony Monday at 7 p.m. at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1415 Eighth St. N.W. Nancy Wilson will give the commencement address.

\ A MUSICAL CELEBRATION is scheduled May 23 at 7 p.m. at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 344 Church Ave. in downtown Roanoke. The free program will feature choral groups from the host church, from Bethany and Westhampton congregations in Roanoke and from First Christian in Clifton Forge. Also on the program will be the hand bells and orchestra of Belmont Christian Church of Roanoke.
The Rev. James Dickerson will speak at the music celebration, which includes all Disciples of Christ congregations in District III. Now of Martinsville, he is a former Roanoker.
\ WESTHAMPTON CHRISTIAN CHURCH will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nature Camp July 10 at 4 p.m.
The camp, originally directed by Thayer and the late Bill Walker, has averaged 25-30 children each year, all of whom have attended free.
Former campers, counselors and others associated with the camp are invited to share their experiences and memorabilia. The event will be at the church, 2515 Grandin Road S.W.
\ SUSY HAMLIN, director of Noah's Landing Preschool at Christ Lutheran Church, has resigned because of a family move to Iowa.
