OBIT-WILLIAMS, EVELYN H.

WILLIAMS, Evelyn H., 64, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, May 11, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Williams Sr. She leaves to mourn six daughters and sons-in-law, Inez and Leander Wainwright, Lee Estelle Morris, Eleen and Alfred Leresy, Diane and Randall Young, Patricia Williams and Marilyn Williams, all of Roanoke; one son, Nathaniel Williams Jr.; one daughter-in-law, Pauline Williams; one sister, Myrtle Jordan; four nieces and one nephew; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a devoted friend, Clarence Staples; a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert K. Ingram officiating. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
