OBIT-WEBB, CARL MILLER

WEBB, Carl Miller, 83, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, May 11, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mr. Webb was born in Craig County, Va., August 31, 1909, to the late James Albert and Mary Margaret Allen Webb. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Webb was a retired store manager at Va Tech and was also a farmer in Montgomery County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Slusser Webb of fifty-two years. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Helen W. and Richard H. Teske, McLean, Va., Betty Lee Hunt, Browns Mills, N.J.; one brother, L. Stanley Webb, Waynesboro, Va.; five grandchildren, and three great-grandsons. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard N. Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
