OBIT-STONEMAN, HOUSTON HOWARD

STONEMAN, Houston Howard, 89, of Galax, died May 13, 1993, in Twin County Community Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Grace A. Stoneman, Galax; one son, Gene P. Stoneman, Galax; foster daughter, Patty Baumgardner, Galax; four foster granddaughters; a sister, Mae Frost, Roanoke; two brothers, Malcom Stoneman, Austinville, Dorsie Stoneman, Delaware. Funeral services will be held in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel Saturday at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
