ASSAULT CONVICTION REVERSED ON APPEAL

An assault conviction against a Yokohama Tire Corp. supervisor has been overturned on appeal.

Mike Baughman had been found guilty of battery in a December incident with a worker at the Salem tire plant. His February conviction was dismissed after a hearing before Roanoke County Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Trabue.
