WINE-TASTING PARTY

New River Arts Council, Progress in Narrows Now and Mountain Lake Resort will sponsor a wine-tasting party Sunday, 2-5 p.m., at Mountain Lake Resort. Several Virginia wineries will be on hand with their latest vintage. The cost is $10 at the door, which includes wine tasting, entertainment, cheese and crackers, and a complimentary Mountain Lake wineglass. Proceeds will benefit community arts projects.
