OBIT-WILCHER, HOWARD DAVID

WILCHER, Howard David, 60, of Iron Gate, died Thursday, May 13, 1993, in the Alleghany Regional Hospital. He was born August 24, 1932, the son of the late John Walter and Mary M. Wilcher. He was retired from Pantasote Rubber Company. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Kidd Wilcher; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sara and John Zeek, Clifton Forge, Janet Leigh and Rondol Rice, Salem; five sisters, Helen Boguess, Springwood, Janie Hill, and Margaret Dudley, both of Eagle Rock, Littie Dudley, Glen Wilton, and Eva Shull, Newport News; three brothers, Robert Wilcher and Carl Wilcher, both of Salem, John Wilcher, Clifton Forge, two grandchildren, Jenny and Thomas Howard Zeek. Funeral 2 p.m. Sunday, Eagle Rock Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Christian Advent Cemetery, Clifton Forge, conducted by Rev. James Mays. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7 to 9.
