Mr. and Mrs. Richard B. Meador of Roanoke are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Marie, to Wayne Lewis Cannon, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard W. Cannon. Linda is a graduate of Roanoke College and is employed by Maid Bess Corporation of Salem, Va. Wayne is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is employed by the City of Roanoke. A September 1993 wedding is planned.
