Kristen Sovine and Marvin Loyd, Jr. are engaged and planning to be married July 10, 1993, in Salem. Kristen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sovine. She graduated from Salem High School. Loyd is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Loyd, Sr. of Salem. He graduated from Glenvar High School and is employed by the United States Marine Corp.
