DOWDY-MCCLURE

Katherine L. McClure and Thomas W. Dowdy, II, were united in marriage on May 15, 1993 in Franklin Heights Baptist Church. The Rev. J. Larry Hollandofficiated. The reception was held at the church.

Denise M. Clifton was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Laura M. Connors, Michele Agee, Whitney Meador and Stephanie Wright. The Rosetteattendant was Mary Ann Meador. Craig Beauchamp was the best man. The ushers were Peter Kim, Geoff Webster, Heath Cockerham and Rod Nunez. Thecandlelighters were Yvonne C. McClure and Dorothy Dowdy. The guestbook was attended by Laura Dowdy and KathyGriffith.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph E. and Yvonne C. McClure of Boones Mill, Va. She is a student at Roanoke College. The groom is the son of T. William and Dorothy Dowdy of Fairfax Station, Va. He is a student at Ferrum College.

Following a wedding trip to Naussau the newlyweds will reside in Roanoke, Va.
