OTEY-STEWART

Lisa Elaine Stewart and Captain Gregory Stevens Otey were married May 1, 1993, in Northview United Methodist Church in Roanoke, Va. Dr. Carl E.Savage performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the Radisson Patrick Henry Hotel. The maid of honor was Kathryn Anita Pantalion, life-long friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Terri Otey, sister-in-law of the groom, Lisa Beers, sister of the groom, and Lisa Soltis, friend of the bride and groom. Flowergirl was Sarah Otey, niece of the groom. The best man was Edwin Ray Otey, Sr., father of the groom. Ushers were Edwin Ray Otey, Jr., brother of the groom, James Beers, brother-in-law of the groom, Mark Gobble, Alan Soltis, and Jim Morgan, friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Mathew Otey, nephew of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Katie Gobble. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Margaretha Middleton and Dr. and Mrs. M.D. Stewart, Jr., of Nacogdoches, Texas. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, and from Officers Basic Course, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Ray Otey, Sr., of Roanoke, Va., graduated from Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va. He is a pilot in the United State Air Force, Pope Air Force Base. After the wedding trip to Germany, the newlyweds will live in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
