FORMER PULASKI SUPERVISOR DIES

Robert Pierce Whitman Sr., a former member of the Pulaski County Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission, died Friday at Pulaski Community Hospital.

Whitman, 68, was supervisor from the Robinson District for two terms from 1980 through 1987.

He was a dairy farmer and a grading and excavating contractor.

A graveside service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Thornspring United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pulaski County.
