OBIT KIRBY, MARGUERITE COOPER

KIRBY, Marguerite Cooper, 67, of Rt 2 Dublin, died late Friday evening in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born January 3, 1926, in Charleston W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Frank Cooper. She is survived by her husband, John D. Kirby Sr; two sons, James Lester Shelor, Richlands, Wash., Roy Lawson Shelor Jr, Watertown, Tenn.; one daughter, Patricia S. Lambert, Greensboro, N.C., one stepson, John D. Kirby Jr, Roanoke; six grandchildren. Visitations will be Sunday evening from 7 until 8 p.m., at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 8 p.m. with Dr. Manson B. Tate officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
