VIRGINIA ELIMINATED FROM ACC BASEBALL

Florida State defeated Virginia 11-2 on Monday and eliminated the Cavaliers from the ACC baseball tournament.

FSU (40-16) got homers from Mike Martin and Doug Mientkiewicz in the first inning to open a 3-0 lead. Clint Hendry hit his first college homer in the ninth, a two-run shot.
