OBIT SINK, HERMAN A.

SINK, Herman A. ("Jimmy"), 66, of Salem, died Sunday, May 16, 1993. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Salem. He was a salesman for 35 years with Roanoke Frosted Foods, Inc. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy. He is survived by his wife Helen Pillow Sink; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald A. and Margurite Sink, Roanoke; two daughters and son-in-law, Cathy and Dennis Layman, Salem, Carolyn Sink, Blacksburg; grandchildren, Heather and Andy Sink, Amy and Sara Layman, and Ian McCoy; sisters, Rubie Taylor, Roanoke, Edna Sink, Shawsville. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem with the Rev. R. Stuart Carlton officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 3201 Brandon Avenue, Suite 5, Roanoke, Va. 24018
