OBIT NEICE, DOUGLAS

NEICE, Douglas, 67, of Pearisburg, died Sunday, May 16, 1993, in Giles Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Mr. Neice was born in Pearisburg, on March 15, 1926, and was a son of the late Albert and Bertha Mae Snider Neice. He is survived by his wife, Hazel C. Neice, Pearisburg; seven sons, Ronnie Neice, Pearisburg, Ferrell Neice, Roanoke, Jerry Neice, Pearisburg, Danny Neice, Pearisburg, Randy Neice, Pearisburg, David Neice, Dublin, Andy Neice, Narrows; three daughters, Brenda Bowles, Pearisburg, Lisa Mills, Peterstown, W.Va., Michele Boone, Narrows; five brothers, Lewis Neice, Pearisburg, Bobby Neice, Pearisburg, Joe Neice, Pearisburg, Bill (Skeeter) Neice, Pearisburg, Lawrence (Beetle) Neice, Florida; one sister, Betty Hand, Pocahontas, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Givens Funeral Chapel, Pearisburg, with the Rev. E.H. Shaver officiating with burial in Birchlawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
