OBIT THOMAS, SIMON T.

THOMAS, Simon T., 81, of Floyd, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 1993, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Vera B. Thomas, Floyd; one son and daughter-in-law, G. W. and Lucille Thomas, Madison Heights, Va.; one brother, Silas Thomas, Floyd; two granddaughters, Regina Routon, Lynchburg, Heather Thomas, Madison Heights; one great-grandson, Tyler Routon, Lynchburg. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Riley Ware officiating, with interment in Jacksonville Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gardner Funeral Home, where the family will be from 7 until 9 p.m.
