OBIT SPENCER, MARIE DALRYMPLE

SPENCER, Marie Dalrymple, 75, of Staunton, died Tuesday, May 18, 1993, in the King's Daughters' Hospital. She resided at 2520 N. Sharlaine Dr. in Staunton. She was born on January 26, 1918, in Marshfield, Missouri, a daughter of the late Jeddy Elvis and Hester (Stanaford) Dalrymple. Mrs. Spencer was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church and an associate member of First Methodist Church of Bonita Springs, Fla. Survivors include her husband, Don H. Spencer; two daughters, Anna Marie Spencer Wentworth, Roanoke, and Kathleen Spencer Pedersen, Fort Washington, Maryland. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Vernie Barrow Jr. and Rev. Thomas Jackson. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. May 19, 1993, in the Henry Funeral Home, 1030 W. Beverley St., Staunton, and other times at the residence. It is suggested that those desiring may make memorial donations to the Marquis Memorial Methodist Church, 1614 W. Beverley St., Staunton, VA 24401.
