OBIT HILTON, JACK L.

HILTON, Jack L., 50, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Roanoke, died Sunday, May 16, 1993. He was born in Richlands, Va., and was a manager of a Conoco Convenience Store in Knoxville, Tenn. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca (Becky) Taylor Hilton, Roanoke; two stepdaughters, Nancy Woods, Rocky Mount, Pat Davis, Roanoke; two stepsons, Ricky Taylor, Roanoke, Arnold Frith, Titusville, Fla.; a sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Hartsell Strouth, City Bluff, Va.; two nieces, Remona Yates, City Bluff, Va., Carolyn Vance, Jewel Ridge, Va.; one nephew, David Yates, Hickory, N.C.; five stepgrandsons. Funeral services will be from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Ben Peyton officiating. Interment, with military honors, will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Vinton Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
