Doug Chittum of Roanoke's Economic Development Department gave this breakdown for the $14 million cost for the Gardner-Denver Mining and Construction Division building, as reported in Wednesday's editions: The project built in Roanoke Centre for Industry and Technology 10 years ago had a cost of $6.8 million for the building, $6.2 million for equipment and $400,000 for the land.
