OBIT COCHRAN, POWHATAN LEFTWICH

COCHRAN, Powhatan Leftwich, ("Leff"), 87, of Wytheville, died Wednesday, May 19, 1993, in the Wythe County Community Hospital. He was a well known retired Wytheville barber. He is survived by one daughter, Sue C. Davis of Gainesville; one son, Garrett A. Cochran of Wytheville; one sister, Oleta Cochran of Hillsville; two brothers, Robert ("Bob") Cochran, Curtis Cochran, both of Hillsville; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, May 21, 1993, at 1 p.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home Chapel, Hillsville, Va., conducted by the Rev. Nathan Malone, with the interment to follow in the Cochran Family Cemetery, Hillsville, Va. The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home Thursday evening from 7 to 9 and at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home from noon Friday until service time. The Grubb Funeral Home, Wytheville, and the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home, Hillsville, is in charge of the arrangements.
