CROWGEY, Blanche Ellett, 97, of Wytheville, died Monday, May 17, 1993. She
was the widow of Richard Reginald "R.R." Crowgey. She was the daughter of the
late Ernest J. and Louise Weisiger Ellett, and is survived by three sisters,
Pearl E. Crowgey of Roanoke, Mary E. Herrnstein of Chillicothe, Ohio, Helen E.
Horne of Martinsville; three brothers, Frank C. Ellett of Sanford, Fla.,
Arthur T. Ellett of Roanoke, Julian D. Ellett of Wilmington, Del. Funeral
services will be Friday, May 21, 1993, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Grubb
Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Henry Horton and the Rev. Dr. Chevis
Horne. Interment to follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. There will be
no visitation at the funeral home, however the family will receive friends at
the home of John and Mickey Crowgey at 1820 North 4th Street, Wytheville,
Thursday, May 20, 1993, from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be
made to the Wythe County Rescue Squad. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of
the arrangements.
