ANOTHER BIBLE- THUMPING CANDIDATE?

HERE WE go again - the "wolf in sheep's clothing" routine.

The gates of hell have opened wide, and again the Roanoke Times & World-News has emerged to make its candidate - this time Mary Sue Terry - look like a Bible-tot'n' Sunday school girl (May 7 article, "Terry has competition as hometown hero").

Well, it's time for a reality check. She is on record as opposing parental notification for minors seeking abortion and for supporting the homosexual agenda. Not very Baptist, huh?

I remind your readers that the last candidate to co-opt the media's "wolf in sheep's clothing" routine was Bill Clinton. Remember, Sunday after Sunday during the campaign, he was seen coming down church steps with a Bible in hand for a photo op. Beware! TONY CONRAD COVINGTON
