OBIT WOODS, WILLIE MAE

WOODS, Willie Mae, 81, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Woods. Survivors include one son and daugher-in-law, Rev. Thomas A. and Dora R. Woods Sr.; three daughters and son-in-law, Willette Johnson and Mary E. Woods, both of Roanoke, Myrtle B. and James Singleton, Hampton; twenty-two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Napoleon Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. A wake/memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. where the family will receive friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Building Fund.
