OBIT HIGGINS, BERTA G.

HIGGINS, Berta G., 87, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, May 19, 1993. She was a member of Parkway Wesleyan Church and was the widow of Charlie S. Higgins. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Leonard Sr. (Bud) and Betty Weaver, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Leonard Weaver Jr., Fred Weaver, Cynthia Weaver and Nancy Weaver Long; two stepgrandchildren, John L. Reed and Renai R. Wright; eight great-grandchildren; two loving friends, Esther Sprouse and April Sprouse Graybill, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 1993, with the Rev. John W. Ott officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
