Beth Maria Brown and Pedro Arturo (Peter) Pequeno II are engaged and planning to be married October 9, 1993, in Winston-Salem, N. C. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry F. Brown. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and from Salem College. She is employed by Winston-Salem Journal. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Pedro A. Pequeno of Winter Park, Fla. He graduated from Bishop Moore High School and from Rollins College where he also received his MBA. He is employed by Southern National Bank.
