Tonya M. Tilley and Mark D. Brown were married May 22, 1993, in Barnhardt
Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Mabrey officiating. The reception was held at
Barnhardt Baptist Church reception hall. The maid of honor was Kimberly D.
Tilley, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Nikki Tilley, sister of bride, Shari
Love, Lisa Rembisz, friends, and Amanda McDaniel, niece of groom. Flowergirl
was Erin Gordon, a friend. The best man was C. Wayne Brown, father of groom.
Ushers were Cabot Davis and Chris Kavanagh, friends, Chris Brown, brother of
groom, and Michael McDaniel, nephew of groom. Ringbearer was Nickolas Love.
Candlelighters were Chris Brown and Cabot Davis. Guestbook attendant was Shari
Perkins. The bride is the daughter of Mike and Bobbi Tilley of Stewartsville.
She graduated from Roanoke Valley Christian School and from National Business
College. She is employed by Lewis Gale Clinic. The groom is the son of Wayne
and Marquita Brown of Roanoke. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and
is employed by Roanoke City Fire Dept. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke
after a western Caribbean cruise. The bride and groom would like to especially
thank Marquita Brown for the making of the bridesmaids dresses, bouquets, pew
bows and the many other things she has prepared for their wedding.
