DRAKE-AMOS

Anita Sue Davis Amos and RogerKenneth Drake were united in marriage May 1, 1993, in Boones Mill Baptist Church in Franklin County, Va. Thedouble ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. James Steele.

The bride is the daughter of the late Henry C. Davis and the late Kathleen F. Davis of Martinsville, Va. She is employed by Shenandoah Life Insurance Co., in Roanoke, Va. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hensley ofBuchanan, Va., and the late Kenneth Drake of Rhine Lander, Wis. His maternal grandmother is Marie La Barge ofMosinee, Wis. He is employed by Howard Brothers, Inc., in Roanoke, Va.

Karen Renee Amos of Collinsville, Va., served as her mother's maid of honor. David J. Amos of Wirtz, son of the bride, escorted his mother down the isle and also served as an usher. Shelby Jean Pagans Amos, daughter-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor. Dale Pagans was an usher and Carolyn Ann Pagans of Wirtz, was the guestbook attendant. PeteBroughman of Buchanan, a friend of the bridegroom, was the best man.

The wedding song, "In This Life", was played and sung by the bride's niece,Suzanne Gilley Hale and Mike Hale, her husband, of Woodstock, Ga.

Servers at the reception were thesisters of the bride, Mrs. Jeanette D. Stone of Martinsville, and Mrs. Yvonne M.Gilley of Massillon, Ohio.

After a wedding trip to Orlando,Florida, the couple will reside in Franklin County, Va.
