Penny Roxann Taylor and DavidBenjamin Firestone Jr. were married on Saturday, May 22, 1993 at Troutville Church of the Brethren with Pastor Peter J. Leddy officiating. The reception was held at the church. Brenda Graybill, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Graybill, niece of the bride and Lisa Firestone, friend of the bride. The best man was David B.Firestone Sr., father of the groom. Ushers were Richard K. Firestone Sr., cousin of the groom, Jeff Conner, friend of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Deborah Lafon, cousin of the groom. Pianist was Naomi Rock, singers were Gary and Marla Rock.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Ruby Taylor and the late Glen Taylor of Fincastle. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and is employed by the City of Salem as a firefighter. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David B. Firestone Sr. of Troutville. He is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and is employed by Botetourt County Sheriff's Department as a dispatcher. The couple will live in Troutville following a trip to Tennessee.
