HAMLIN-BOYD

Allison Rayne Boyd and David Lee Hamlin were married May 22, 1993, at the Friendship Manor Residence Center Chapel. Officiating clergyman was James Millsaps. The reception was held at Friendship Manor Pavilion. The maid of honor was Michelle L. Boyd, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Christy Fader, Alicia Ward, Megan Ward, and Heather O'Brien, all friends of the bride. Best man was Mark Hamlin, brother of groom. Ushers included Tony Hamlin, brother of groom, Jackie LaPradd, Eric Bailey and Mike Loyd, all friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Jason Willhide. Guest book was attended by Christy Powell. Candlelighter was Kimberly Hayes. The bride is the daughter of Gary and Jessica Boyd of Roanoke County. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School class of '91 and is employed by Honeytree Learning Centers. The bridegroom is the son of Harry G. and Darline Hamlin of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School class of '89 and is employed by Davis H. Elliot as an electrician apprentice. Special thanks to Mrs. Louise H. Ale, organist, Jean Thorne and Valerie Emerson, floral designers, Barry Brooks, photographer, Shelton Lewis, DJ, and Clemmons' Custom Caterers. The newlyweds will live in Vinton after a wedding trip to Cancun.
