PENDLETON-HAWLEY

Teri Shannon Hawley and Ronald Walter Pendleton, Jr. were married May 22, 1993, in St. John's Episcopal Church with Rev. Thomas O'Dell officiating. The reception was held at Patrick Henry Hotel. The maid of honor was Whitney Bower, cousin of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kathy Jo Harter, step-sister of bride, Tracie Dowell and Kelly Willis, cousins of bride, Vicki Sowers, friend of bride. The flowergirls were Lauren Ashtin Harter, sister of bride, and Elizabeth Layman. The best man was Jackie Sowers, Jr., a friend. The ushers included Jason Hawley, brother of bride, David Fant, Cary Gentry, Tommy Lafferty, Gary Rose and Stephen Waskey, all friends. The guestbook was attended by Kimberly Cash. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian V. Harter of Roanoke and the late Arthur Lee Hawley. She graduated from Patrick Henry High school and from Radford University. The bride is employed by Roanoke County Schools. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald W. Pendleton of Roanoke. He graduated from Patrick Henry and from Roanoke College. The bridegroom is employed by Benchmark Systems. The newlyweds will live in Lynchburg after a wedding trip to Maine.
