POE-ROLLINS

Martha Brown Rollins and Thomas Simmons Poe were united in marriageon May 15, 1993 in West RaleighPresbyterian Church in Raleigh, N.C. Dr. P. Joseph Ward was the officiatingclergyman. The reception was held at The Bishop's House on the campus of Saint Mary's College.

Sarah Jones of Greenville, N.C., friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Donna Biglin ofStewart Manor, N.Y., friend of the bride; and Nancy Poe Wingfield of Roanoke, Va., sister of the groom. Ken Bright ofSanford, N.C., friend of the groom, was the best man. The ushers were Tim Peck and Michael Brown, friends of the groom, both of Chapel Hill, N.C. ScriptureSentences were read by Rebeca Olmedo of Roanoke, Va. and Martha E. Poe of El Paso, Texas, sisters of the groom.

Martha is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Rollins, Jr. of Bethel, N.C. She is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Biochemistry degree and is employed by NCSU Department of Genetics. Thomas is the son of Dr. and Mrs. William D. Poe of Roanoke, Va. He is a graduate of NCSU with a Mastersdegree in Civil Engineering and isemployed by the State of North Carolina Division of Environment Management.

After the wedding trip to SmithMountain Lake, Virginia, the newlyweds will reside in Raleigh, N.C.
