TURNER-EARLY

Gwendolyn R. Early and Jeffrey D. Turner were united in marriage on April 24, 1993, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Joseph Crowther officiating. The reception was held at Quality Inn.

The matron of honor was Kathy Rabe. The bridesmaids were Anne-Marie Rabe, Jackie Turner, Connie Yates, and Lisa Allnutt. The best man was MitchellTurner. The ushers were Steve Turner, Jonathan Turner, Rob Allnutt and Roary White.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Ann Rabe of Harrisonburg, and Richard W. Rabe of Charlottesville. She is a graduate of Albemarle High School and MaryBaldwin College. She is employed at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Virginia. The groom is the son of Mitchell and Octavia Turner of Martinsville. He graduated from Laurel Park High School. He is self-employed with Turner Building and Remodeling.

After a wedding trip to Cancun, the couple will reside in Roanoke.
